Meghna River around Meghna Upazila, among the traditional places, Alipur Launch Ghat on the south, Kashipur Bazar on the east, Chandanpur Launch Ghat on the north,

To the west is the Rampur Launch Ghat, with a paved road link to these four places. Manikarchar (Muktinagar) market is located right in the middle. This area was first liberated in Meghna during the Great War of Independence, hence the name Muktinagar. This place is now also known as Manikarchar. Manikarchar is basically a rich area in the Meghna. Sonali Bank and Krishi Bank are located next to Manikarchar Bazar. Upazila Parishad is located in the center of Meghna.
